The Reclaim Cloud Marketplace has a 1-click application installer for ownCloud, an open-source storage solution. While it can be easily used for data sharing, collaboration and synchronization, it also works really well for storing documents, photo galleries, and even contacts. ownCloud is a great alternative to other storage solutions like Dropbox, GoogleDrive, and Box, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that your data is self-hosted and managed in your Reclaim Cloud account.
First you’ll want to log into your account at https://app.my.reclaim.cloud/
If you haven’t installed any applications yet, the Dashboard will look like this:
From here, you’ll want to click on Deploy Solution from Marketplace.
ownCloud is available under the Storage & File Manager section. Hovering over this with your cursor will give you access to the blue Install button. Alternatively, you can also search "ownCloud" in the top left search bar of the Marketplace window.
After clicking Install you'll be given a few customization options. The Environment URL can be left as is or changed to something more user friendly. This won't matter if you're going to map a custom domain later. The Display Name will identify the application under your Reclaim Cloud Dashboard. Lastly, you can choose which Region you would like the installation to be hosted on.
After everything is configured as you like, select the green Install button.
The installation will take several minutes.
Once completed you’ll be presented with a screen showing the environment URL and admin panel credentials. These will also be sent to your registered e-mail address along with several other e-mails detailing the installation process.
Clicking Open in Browser brings up the ownCloud login screen where you'll be able to enter your recently delivered application credentials.
