DoOO V2 Accounts Page

The Domain of One's Own Accounts page is the interface where DoOO Admins can manage hosting accounts on their DoOO instance. This page is in the WordPress backend to ensure that only logged in users (DoOO Admins in particular) are able to access it, and can be found at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=dooo-accounts. For example, on stateu.org, the page is located at: https://stateu.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=dooo-accounts.

Creating Accounts

At the top of the page is a form to Create a new account. A WordPress user (ID/Username/Email), server, and domain must be specified. A username can be specified but if one is not, a random one will be generated.

This interface allows admins to bypass limits on self-service account creation by end users, the default domain on which the subdomains for end user accounts will exist, and set specific (instead of random) usernames for end user accounts.

In addition to being able to create new accounts, this interface can be used to associate cPanel accounts that exist on the server but are not linked to a user in the DoOO WordPress portal; just ensure that the username, domain, and server match when creating/adding the account!

Active Accounts

The next section is the list of Active Accounts. Admins can see the domains, owner, username, and server of a hosting account. The Login button is the only action displayed initially, but more actions appear in the dropdown menu under each account, which include: resetting the account's password using the New Password button, suspending the account with the Suspend button, sharing access to the account with other users using the Share button, and changing ownership of the account to another user with the Change button. A list of other users with whom the account has been shared will also be displayed in the dropdown menu.

Suspended Accounts

The third and final section is the list of suspended hosting accounts. Admins can see the domain, suspension reason, owner, username, and server. Only two actions are possible on suspended accounts: unsuspension with the Unsuspend button and termination with the Terminate button.
