Starting June 1, 2025, Reclaim Hosting will be using automatic billing. This change means that instead of receiving an invoice and making a manual payment, your saved payment method will be charged automatically each billing cycle. This update will help streamline your experience and ensure timely, hassle-free payments.
Opting Out of Automatic Billing
Changing Default Payment Method
If you do not want to be automatically charged for the hosting services or the domain name renewals you have set up with Reclaim Hosting, you can opt out. To opt out, you will want to change your payment method to Invoice Only.
You will want to click on the Account Details link in the Account menu in the left sidebar. Once the Account Details page loads, go down to Payment Method and select Invoice Only.
Optional: Remove your Saved Payment Methods
Next, to remove your payment information, log into your Client Area. Once logged in, use the dropdown in the main menu to go to Billing > Payment Methods.
Once there, remove any saved payment methods so that there are none listed.
Once those changes are made, your account can't be automatically billed. You will receive the invoice notification 30 days prior to the due date and the invoice will need to be paid manually on or before the due date to avoid any service suspensions.
